The Center for Multicultural Studies supports the challenges faced by emerging global societies by offering:

• Conferences on intercultural communication and interdisciplinary fields
• Other language courses: Chinese and Japanese
• Space rental for academic forums and meetings
• Translation Services
• Proofreading and Revision Services: Written English Correction
• Cross-Cultural Workshops for foreigners planning to live in Spain and for Spaniards planning to live and/or study in the United States
• Orientation services for foreigners planning to live in Madrid

Free Workshops

Workshops will be held every Friday to all registered students in order to enhance the four language skills: listening/comprehension, reading, writing and speaking.

• Spanish & English Cinema. Discussion groups after the movie to practice and improve listening/comprehension and conversation. Time: 19:00-21:30. First Friday of the month.
• The Reading Club in Spanish & English. Selection of books. To practice and improve reading skills. Time: 19:00 – 20:00. Second Friday of the month.
• Creative Writing in Spanish & English. To practice and improve writing skills. Time: 19:00 -20:00. Third Friday of the month.
• Public Speaking in Spanish & English. To practice and improve speaking skills in various situations. Time: 19:00 – 20:00. Fourth Friday of the month.
